A North Carolina man who is known for one of the most infamous murders in American history could be released from charges Monday.
Jeffrey MacDonald was convicted in 1970 of stabbing his pregnant wife and daughters at Fort Bragg.
The Green Beret has maintained he's innocent and says "hippies," broke into their home and killed his family.
A judge will consider new DNA evidence and witness testimony because DNA testing was not available when MacDonald was convicted in 1979.
