CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This 22-story dual-branded hotel will welcome its first guests on Tuesday.
AC Hotel — the city’s first — and Residence Inn Charlotte City Center are located above the EpiCentre at 210 E. Trade St.
The two-and-a-half-year, 200,000-square-foot project is a joint venture between Charlotte’s Vision Ventures and Florida-based McKibbon Hospitality.
“It fits well in an urban environment,” says John McKibbon, chairman of McKibbon Hospitality.
In total, it brings 300 rooms to uptown across those two brands. Costs for the project were not disclosed.
