Kids find bodies of two men while playing in Raleigh neighborhood, deputies say

KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — The bodies of two men who had been shot to death were found inside a vehicle Tuesday by kids playing in a Raleigh neighborhood, according to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said deputies were called to an area near Poole Road, east of downtown Raleigh and south of the town of Knightdale around noon after the children spotted the bodies inside the vehicle.

No names have been released and investigators haven’t determined a motive for the shootings. The sheriff’s office also hasn’t said when it believes the shooting happened.
