KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. — People who live in Kings Mountain can expect to see higher water and sewer bills.
Our partners at the Shelby Star report the council approved a 10% increase in next year’s budget.
They say that’s to help overcome staffing issues at the water and sewer plants.
Council also approved a 3% pay raise for city workers.
Property tax rates will stay the same.
