CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Knights are looking to fill the stands with fans and the ballpark with great food options for the team’s upcoming season.
Media got an inside look at the new options on Thursday, which include nachos and burgers. Another new option will also allow fans to quickly get the new options with “grab and go.” You will be able to quickly access food and drinks without having to wait in long lines.
The menu will feature local products throughout the season.
“We get in cheeses that are local from as close as York, we also get HoneyComb from South Carolina,” Executive Cheif Kyle Van Hess said. “It’s on our cheese displays up there. It’s really important to support local and get as much local ingredients in.”
The Knights will have their season opener against the Memphis Redbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
