HICKORY, N.C. — On Saturday, Channel 9’s Dave Faherty reported a a large police presence along Grace Chapel Road near Highway 321.
Eyewitnesses said the road had been shutdown for more than two hours after several shots rang out.
The road will be closed until 9 p.m.
The Grace Chapel Hill Volunteer Fire Department posted the following update on Facebook:
Hello everyone, Grace Chapel Road will be shut down for quite some time, let’s draw strength from the fact that all fire department personnel are ok. Let’s continue to uplift our courageous firemen, EMS, and police in prayer.
