LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — A Lincoln County man was arrested after authorities said child pornography was found on his home computer.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and FBI Task force executed a search warrant at 3518 NC 73 Highway in Iron Station.
Investigators said that after searching the home of 36-year-old Robert Lee Powell, pornographic photos were found of children between the ages of 7 and 9.
Powell is charged with five felony counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor and five felony counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Powell turned himself in on Wednesday.
Powell is in custody under a $150,000 secured bond.
