LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office were searching for a 78-year-old man who was reported missing Thursday evening.
Deputies said Richard Wayne Abernathy was last seen around 12 p.m. at his home on Cinnabar Lane.
Abernathy was located in Lexington, North Carolina, Thursday night and family members were on their way to pick him up, deputies said.
He had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
