BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — A local center is testing all of its employees and residents to make sure there aren’t any asymptomatic COVID-19 cases.
J Iverson Riddle Development Center houses nearly 300 people with intellectual and developmental challenges.

The center started doing employee health screenings in early March, but has since expanded its testing to all workers and residents.
As of Friday, there were 29 COVID-19 outbreaks at assisted living facilities, group homes and development centers.
