Local developmental center to test all residents, employees for COVID-19

BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — A local center is testing all of its employees and residents to make sure there aren’t any asymptomatic COVID-19 cases.

The center started doing employee health screenings in early March, but has since expanded its testing to all workers and residents.

As of Friday, there were 29 COVID-19 outbreaks at assisted living facilities, group homes and development centers.
