CHARLOTTE — Nikko Sushi & Steakhouse will reopen under new ownership.
Tyon D. Thompson Sr. confirmed to the Charlotte Business Journal that he has purchased Nikko Sushi & Steakhouse’s assets. He plans to revamp and reopen the space, which has closed temporarily. Nikko is at 325 Arlington Ave., Suite 108.
Thompson will be the director of operations. He’s working with boxing analyst Allan Jones on the venture. Jones posted on social media that the duo had officially purchased Nikko.
Thompson says the goal is to open within the next 30 days.
