‘A lot of good going on': 9-year-old boy raises money for CMPD officer’s family

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 9-year-old boy is raising money for a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer’s children who are both battling cancer.

Channel 9′s Joe Bruno first spoke with Jayden Hooker back in 2016, when he was giving free hugs and donuts to CMPD officers.

Now, he is painting rocks and selling them to support Officer Frunzi’s two sons.

Frunzi and his family are accepting donations for their sons here.
