GASTONIA, N.C. — Police have arrested a suspect accused in a deadly shooting at a Gastonia motel in January.
William O’Brian Hill is charged with second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon, officials said.
Police reports said Hill used a handgun to shoot Lapriz Blake on January 23.
He was shot multiple times in the parking lot of the Budget Inn Motel on West Franklin Boulevard and died the next morning.
Hill is in the Gaston County jail.
Channel 9 is asking police if the two knew each other.
