LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Lincoln County Sheriff's Detective Dan Renn has charged a Sherrills Ford man with one felony count each of taking indecent liberties with a child and second-degree kidnapping.
The incident occurred at a residence on Executive Circle in Denver on Sept. 28 and was reported the next day.
The 13-year-old girl was spending the night with several friends when the incident occurred. The victim was not related to the suspect.
Matthew Dylan Miller, 22, of 2434 Wellesbourne Lane, was arrested on Oct. 23 and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $35,000 secured bond.
