ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police said three people have been charged in connection with the deadly shooting of a man in a Rock Hill neighborhood.
Kenneth Agurs, 22, Janari Farmer, 21, and Chakevious Truesdale, 22, were arrested Tuesday and charged with assault by mob in the first degree. Agurs was arrested in Charlotte, and Farmer and Truesdale were taken into custody in Rock Hill.
According to officers, 27-year-old Jonterrius Adams died days after he was shot in the lower body. The shooting happened at the end of October on S. Jones Avenue.
Authorities said they learned that multiple people physically assaulted Adams moments before the shooting.
