Man shot inside Concord apartment complex; another man in custody

CONCORD, N.C. — Police are investigating after they said someone shot a man inside a Concord apartment early Thursday.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. at the Legacy Concord Apartments off George Liles Parkway.

Officers told Channel 9 the man drove about two blocks away, found police, and got help.

Police think he’ll be OK. They have another man in custody but have not released his name or said what may have led to the shooting.
