CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A massage therapist accused of inappropriately touching a woman while he was giving her a massage faced a judge for the first time on Friday.
The victim claims Matthew Delsignore violated her at Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Huntersville. He’s now charged with sexual battery.
Delsignore is also facing an investigation by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy.
Delsignore no longer works at Hand and Stone.
Two other women are suing the spa in a separate case, in which they said a different masseuse violated them during a massage.
