CHARLOTTE — A new state law means commissioners in Mecklenburg County will have to adopt a new policy banning employees from viewing pornography on county devices.
Commissioners will vote on the new policy Wednesday. It will apply to both them and appointees to county boards.
If board appointees are found in violation of the policy, they will be removed. If a commissioner is found in violation, they will be censured.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is expected to adopt a similar policy by the end of the month.
