CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Four months after reporter Ken Ward died, the medical examiner’s office released an autopsy report that listed the cause of his death as heart disease.
In the wake of Ward’s death, many people called or emailed the Channel 9 newsroom asking how he died, a question that went unanswered since January.
Ward was leaving the Charlotte market for a new job in Tampa when he died suddenly.
He left behind a wife and son.
