CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A major tire company is moving a huge distribution center to Charlotte.
Michelin signed a long-term lease for an industrial building at Twin Lakes Business Park in north Charlotte.
The existing facility in New London will be consolidated to the Charlotte location.
That transition will start next month. It is not yet clear how many jobs that will mean for the community.
