MONROE, N.C. — Monroe Police went on an “adventure” after a pet bunny decided to explore its neighborhood.
Police said the “oversized escape artist” was found after a “brief investigation.”
The bunny was returned to a “very relieved” owner, police said.
Police reminded residents to keep an eye on their pets so that they don’t find themselves in danger.
“Community policing comes in all shapes and sizes,” police said.
