CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Lowe’s Cos. Inc. is partnering with a trio of national veterans services designed to make U.S. military personnel’s transition to civilian life easier.
USO, AmVets and Operation Finally Home will link more closely with Lowe’s offerings for workforce training, affordable housing and other services, says Joe McFarland, a Marine vet and Lowe’s executive vice president of stores.

“Lowe’s commitment to the military is longstanding and partnerships with these organizations allow us to form stronger connections with the military community,” McFarland says. “We look forward to working closely with each organization to serve the military community through programs focused on safe, affordable housing and transitioning military into dynamic careers.”
