MOORESVILLE, N.C. — A Mooresville Middle School teacher and coach resigned amid a police investigation.
Police said there are no criminal charges against Chip Pickard, but they are investigating allegations and would not say what those were.
The Mooreseville Graded School District is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
Pickard was a physical education teacher and the head football and basketball coach.
