CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A west Charlotte motel plagued by violations was demolished Wednesday.
The Airport Parkway Inn and Suites on Wilkinson Boulevard was home for several struggling families until last year.
Officials ordered the demolition after finding hundreds of safety and code violations There is no plan for what will fill next in that space.
