YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Troopers said a motorcyclist died after colliding with an SUV Saturday afternoon in York County.
The crash happened around 1:53 p.m. on Galway Lane near Omalley’s Court near Clover.
According to troopers, a man was backing an SUV into a driveway when the motorcycle struck it.
The person was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from the motorcycle, troopers said.

Officials confirmed the motorcyclist died at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
