NORTH CAROLINA — Multiple mountain area school districts adjusted their schedules Monday due to winter weather moving through the region.

Ashe County: Schools in Ashe County are closed today.

Avery County: Schools in Avery County are on a three-hour delay.

Watauga County: Schools in Watauga County are closed today.
