NASCAR Hall of Fame to host high-octane holiday happenings

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The NASCAR Hall of Fame is revving up for the season with a lineup of high-octane happenings during its annual Holidays at the Hall.

Events this year have been modified because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the museum is ready to safely welcome visitors and spread tidings of good cheer from Nov. 11 to Jan. 1.

Kids go free

Now through Jan. 1, children are admitted free with every full paying adult admission. Tickets can be purchased at nascarhall.com using promo code CHEER or onsite at the Box Office.

“Holidays for Heroes”

The Hall of Fame and Toyota have teamed up for the “Holidays for Heroes” program, Nov. 13-30. Guests who make an onsite monetary donation will have the opportunity to help “Trim the Toyota Tundra” by adding a magnet honoring servicemen and women to the Toyota Tundra truck on display in the Great Hall. All donations will be gifted to Veterans Bridge Home, a Charlotte-based non-profit organization that connects members of the military and their families to the community and helps them navigate employment, create social connections and settle their families. The Hall of Fame also offers a military ticket discount, available at the Box Office with military ID.

Undeck the hall

NASCAR fans are invited to visit the morning after Christmas to help undeck the hall. Fans will be permitted to select a gift off trees decorated with NASCAR-themed items such as autographed souvenirs, diecast cars, apparel, gear and more. The event is free for members or with paid admission. Doors open at 10 a.m. Dec. 26 and the fun continues until all the gifts are gone.

Gifts for the gear head

Shoppers with NASCAR fans on their lists can wrap up something nice from the Hall of Fame. Guests who spend $25 at the Gear Shop onsite get 25% off souvenir photos.

In addition, from Nov. 23 through Dec. 31, any new NASCAR Hall of Fame memberships purchased will include a complimentary audio tour, guided tour ticket and two parking passes. Current members who gift a membership will receive a NASCAR Hall of Famer diecast of their choosing and a complimentary ticket for Speedway Christmas, the drive-thru lights show at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Please note that in accordance with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, face masks or coverings are required for entry into the Hall of Fame and must be worn at all times.
