M/I Homes Inc. is adding another project to its quickly growing Charlotte-area portfolio.
The homebuilder said it recently closed on around 220 acres in Locust for its first project in Stanly County. M/I Homes will begin development this month on Amber Glen, which will include 184 homes at 504 N. Central Ave.
Sales at Amber Glen are expected to open in the first quarter of 2026. Floor plans at Amber Glen will range between 2,735 and 3,613 square feet. The homes will have three to five bedrooms, with up to three-and-a-half bathrooms.
