CHARLOTTE, N.C. — North Carolina's film industry has been seeing dramatic cuts and the impact is being felt in Charlotte.
Part of the problem is because the state cut its tax incentives from $60 million to just $10 million.
The change took effect in January and after only one month, one film producer said he's already seeing the difference.
"See out into April and that's about as far as I see, as far as this type of business -- I've got no prospects beyond that,” said Chris Cates with C3 Studios.
He may have to shut down his studio and go elsewhere.
State legislators said it could come up for discussion during Wednesday’s state address.
