CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Craft cocktail bar Elsewhere made its debut in South End on Wednesday.
The private club offers a modern twist on classic cocktails as well as a specialty cocktail program, which will draw inspiration from around the world.
Wooden Robot co-founder Josh Patton has teamed up with Sean Rega on that concept -- though Elsewhere has no affiliation with the popular South End brewery.
The venture is tucked into a 750-square-foot space at the Design Center of the Carolinas. It also boasts a roughly 500-square-foot patio near the complex’s water tower.
“It’s a small place -- big effort. It’s been a journey for sure,” Rega says.
