CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This urban golf club delivers a new entertainment option in Plaza Midwood.
Stroke pairs a nine-hole, indoor mini-golf course with a 1970s-inspired lounge. That venue opens Saturday at 1318 Pecan Avenue.
The concept is the vision of Scott and Ashleigh Gadd. The couple previously owned Axe Club of America, before selling it in October.
“We wanted to explore other entertainment options,” Scott Gadd said.
Multiple options were considered before selecting an indoor putt-putt concept. It elevates the experience by incorporating a lounge with a country-club vibe.
“We really like the idea of being an urban golf club,” Gadd said.
