CHARLOTTE — Taxiway U is now open at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, connecting the central and east sides of the airfield.
The new South Crossfield Taxiway features a bridge over Yorkmont Road and enhances de-icing operations, providing direct taxi access from the de-icing pad to Runways 36R and 36C.
