BELMONT, N.C. — Work could begin this fall on a new waterfront park in Belmont.
The assistant city manager presented these plans to the Lake Wylie marine commission for the Kevin Loftin Riverfront Park.
It will have a canoe and kayak launch, amphitheater and fishing piers.
The assistant city manager said the park will be used for public access to the water, which he said is much needed in the area.
