CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The south Charlotte mansion of Houston Texans’ Johnathan Joseph has sold following an online auction last month.
According to Mecklenburg County property records, the 15,454-square-foot gated home carried a sale price of $3.25 million — more than 75%, or $1.4 million — than the $1.83 million that Joseph and wife Delaina paid for the home in 2014.
The modern estate, which sits on 1.6 acres in Charlotte’s Seven Eagles neighborhood, had originally been listed at nearly $5 million last August and dropped in price to $4.69 million at the end of January.
The property includes eight bedrooms in addition to eight full- and three half-bathrooms as well as features such as a home gym, theater and elevator. The outdoor space has a kitchen, vanishing-edge pool and basketball court.
