Woman arrested, charged after man stabbed to death in Salisbury

SALISBURY, N.C. — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed to death early Tuesday in Salisbury.

Officers were called just before 3 a.m. to the scene on Pearl Street. When they arrived, police found 27-year-old Arturo Alonso who had been stabbed.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Salisbury Police Department obtained a murder warrant for Brianna Lee Vaughn, 26, for Alonso’s killing.

She was taken into custody at about 5 p.m. Tuesday.
