CONCORD, N.C. — Officials said a person is in custody after a chase Friday afternoon involving the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office and North Carolina Highway Patrol officers.
A spokesman with the city of Concord said officers were searching for a person in a breaking-and-entering case in Cabarrus County. The person drove off the roadway at Poplar Tent Road and Cannon School.
