BLOWING ROCK, N.C. — The Blowing Rock Fire Department, with help from the Boone Fire Department, responded to a house fire Sunday in Blowing Rock.
The home was a total loss.
No fire alarm sounded. Fire crews were alerted of the fire after the flames were already visible.
The first call came in from a neighbor in a nearby mountain house who saw the flames.
Neighbors said the home belongs to a family in Wilkesboro who rent out the home.
