HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — A packaging company for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry says it will move jobs from New Jersey to a new operation in Huntersville.
Pester Pac Automation will relocate 20 jobs from Allendale, New Jersey, to a 20,000-square-foot facility it will build at 13530 Reese Blvd., within The Park-Huntersville. Pester Pac acquired the 9.7-acre tract, currently undeveloped, in September for nearly $1.4 million, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records.
Pester Pac is based in Wolfertschwenden, Germany, and employs 700-plus globally. It develops machine technology like film wrapping, case packing and palletizing for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
