A Channel 9 crew saw crews performing the maintenance early this morning. The road gets congested throughout the morning commute, but there is a detour.
Southbound drivers will be detoured from N.C. 16 to Lawton, Rozzelles Ferry and North Hoskins roads, according to officials. Returning to N.C. 16, northbound drivers will follow the detour in reverse.
