Person hurt after train, fuel truck collide in northwest Charlotte (WSOC)

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials are investigating after a person was hurt when a train crashed into a fuel truck in northwest Charlotte Monday evening.

Authorities said Rozzelles Ferry Road is closed between Toddville Road and Old Mount Holly Road while crews clean up. They have not said when the road is expected to reopen.

MEDIC said one person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

No other details have been released. Channel 9 is working to learn more information.
