SURVEILLANCE: Man steals computer, video systems from Walmart

CONOVER — Police are looking for a man who stole $1,200 worth of items from a Walmart in Conover.

Officers said a felony larceny occurred at 4:40 a.m. Friday. The suspect appeared to be in his early to mid-30s, according to police, and was wearing a Mossy Oak camouflage hoodie, along with matching camouflage pants and a camouflage toboggan. 

Officers said he took a grocery cart and obtained a Dell desktop computer, five Motorola home video systems and multiple Mossy Oak camouflage jackets, totaling over $1,200.

Investigators said he exited Walmart through the garden center emergency fire exit, where a white Chrysler 200 was waiting to pick the suspect up.

There appeared to be two additional unidentified front seat occupants in the vehicle, according to police.
