Police: 27-year-old Kannapolis man accused of trafficking heroin

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — A Kannapolis man is in jail on Tuesday night, charged with selling heroin.

Police said 27-year-old Jamil Weaks was trafficking heroin and sold it to at least one other person.

He is in jail with a bond set at $500,000.

Weaks is set to appear in court Sept. 30.
