ROCK HILL, S.C. — Four people were shot Friday night in a "drug deal gone bad" in Rock Hill, the police department said in a press release.
Officers arrived at Pepper Ridge Apartments at about 10:10 p.m. and saw one victim shot in the parking lot.

Three other shooting victims were taken to the hospital.
Five people were arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
Police said several people pulled out guns and started shooting during the drug deal.
“There was a car with all four doors open, shoes randomly thrown everywhere, people outside and guy lying next to a car with blood all over him,” neighbor Sharron Klein said.
The extent of their injuries was not released.
Police charged the following people:
- Zachery Vaverchak was charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm/ knife during a violent crime and carrying a pistol unlawfully.
- Darius Stevenson was charged with attempted armed robbery, carrying a pistol unlawfully and criminal conspiracy.
- Alec McCoy was charged with attempted armed robbery and criminal conspiracy.
- Joseph Grobusky was charged with obstruction of justice.
- Andrew Snyder was charged with accessory after the fact.
