Police: 59 people facing charges in connection with drug trafficking in Concord

CONCORD, N.C. — Concord police said that after a yearlong investigation, 59 people are now facing charges in connection with drug trafficking.

Investigators found 450 pounds of marijuana, 17.25 ounces of cocaine, 6.07 ounces of methamphetamines, 5.82 ounces of heroin and fentanyl, 2.7 ounces of MDMA and 27 dosage units of various other controlled substances.

Officials also seized $1,000,942 and 21 firearms.

The Cabarrus County District Attorney’s Office, the United States Department of Homeland Security, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Kannapolis Police Department all assisted with the investigations.

Police said 51 people have been arrested so far, and eight people still have outstanding warrants. Here are those who are facing charges:
