SHELBY, N.C. — Police say a convicted felon threatened someone with a handgun during an attempted robbery.
Tyrone Christopher Parker, 21, of Shelby, allegedly tried to rob someone while “threatening the use of a firearm,” according to aClevelandCountyarrest warrant. Police allegedly found Parker with a handgun.
Parker was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in January 2009, a warrant for his arrest says. Police arrested Parker and took him to theCleveland County jail, where he was held Friday pending a $35,500 bond.
