GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a moped in Gaston County.
The crash involving the moped and a car happened on Union Road Wednesday morning.

"I couldn't avoid him," the driver of the car told investigators. The road is expected to be closed until 12 p.m. Channel 9 reporter Ken Lemon is at the scene gathering more information.
