Missing 72-year-old woman found safe in Charlotte, police say

MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said a missing 72-year-old woman has been found Saturday night.

Officers said Cynthia Ann Reed was found on East Trade Street and has been reunited with her family.

Authorities said Reed left her home on Seneca Place at around 10 a.m. She has been diagnosed with cognitive and medical issues.
