MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Police in Mooresville had to block several streets in downtown early Friday morning for what they're calling a domestic situation.
Officers told Channel 9 that a man was barricaded in a house on West Iredell Avenue following a domestic assault.
It was unclear if anyone was hurt.
Officers said the incident was resolved just after 8 a.m. but streets around the scene were still closed, including West Iredell Avenue, Academy Street, Tunnel Road, Broad Street and West Moore Street.
The scene is near Mitchell Community College.
