CHARLOTTE — In Mecklenburg County, there is one race for district court judge.
It’s between incumbent Cecilia Oseguera and Habekah Cannon.
Cannon calls herself an abolitionist, meaning someone who wants to abolish jails and prisons.
The Political Beat’s Hunter Saenz talked to both candidates.
There is no Republican candidate running in the race. Whoever wins will take the seat.
