CHARLOTTE — Popular radio personality Nolimit Larry is bringing his father-daughter dance back on Nov. 11 after the event was on pause during the pandemic.
The “Nolimit Larry Father Daughter Sneaker Ball” puts a fashion twist on the traditional dance concept.
Nolimit Larry said kids like to get dressed up and wear their favorite kicks.
His two daughters, ages 8 and 15, are excited, and so are so many others.
“I got a phone call from a young lady,” said Nolimit Larry, Power 98 DJ. “She’s in her 30s, and she was like, ‘You know, I wish I would have something like this growing up.’ So she’s bringing her dad. So that’s the feedback.”
There is no age limit at the dance.
“Like if you want to spend time with your daddy, Friday, Nov. 11, come on out,” he said. “Bring your dad out. We’re going to have a good time.”
The dance is also a fundraiser.

The money raised will go to his nonprofit Critical Times Inc.
The nonprofit, in part, helps children in the Carolinas, who have had a parent who was murdered.
