CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This popular Southern cafe is doubling down on Charlotte, with plans for an uptown location.

Tupelo Honey anticipates its second location could open by early fall in uptown. That roughly 4,800-square-foot restaurant will be located in the Bank of America Plaza at 101 S. Tryon St.
“We are thrilled to share our scratch-made Southern favorites with even more guests in the Queen City,” says Christin Prince, senior vice president of marketing.
The new restaurant is less than two miles away from its South End venture, at 1820 S. Blvd., but Prince says there aren’t concerns that business in South End will be impacted.
